The end of 12P expedition

12P expediton

At the end of the 10 weeks the teams have been very successful in their achievements in the villages.

There were:
2276 individuals treated at the health camps.

The construction phases resulted in the following built and painted:
55 Eco-Sanitation units,
1 Kindergarten toilet,
2 Rain water collecting tanks,
32 Cow sheds,
31 Azola Pits,
31 Vermicompost
2 Community halls totally refurbished

Together with all of this the teams carried out innumerable health awareness sessions all of which will benefit the communities in which our volunteers lived and worked with.

All the Volunteers and Team Leaders left Field base yesterday safe and well if a little emotional.

The ICV’s were dropped in Mysore. Everyone else spent the night in Bangalore and all the UKV’s were seen safely into the airport terminal by TLs this morning.

Thank you to all the Volunteers and Team Leaders for your hard work and commitment over the last 10 weeks.

All the best to everyone in the future.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone.
