We have had
a total of 76 UK volunteers and 49 In Country Volunteers pass through Field
Base all raring to go (despite some extreme jet lag for a fair few!). They all
left in their fully loaded buses and arrived safely at their Project villages
where work and training will start straight away.
Please
scroll down to find your loved one and see which group they are in and to which
beautiful remote village they have ventured off to....

ReplyDeleteHi Liv! What a brilliant photo of you all :) Hope you've had a good start to your trip. Can't believe we're both in such remote corners of the world and can still communicate (assuming this works!) Top story from Rwanda this week was my battle with a poisonous frog in the bathroom for 2 nights in a row, then a hairy caterpillar in the living room the next day. It's been a week of wildlife! I'm sure you've loads of stories by now too...I just hope you're not so remote that they feature having tigers anywhere near you!! My internet is slowly (VERY slowly) letting me load up your location - I hope Kalahatti is as beautiful as it sounds :) Look forward to following your adventures on the blog. Thinking of lots, my fellow adventurer!

Hi Emma, India Yankee9,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you on the photo of your group. Looks like you're a little sunburnt on your cheeks already!! Hope you're having a great time, enjoying the sunshine, curry and company...and that the work and mozzies aren't too bad. Hope you're having lots of fun. Love you loads, Lou, Col, Lucy, Christy & Elsie xxxxx
For Colin Keays - India Romeo 5: It's so great to receive the news of where you are. You've been away for months before, but never into the stratosphere without a trace! This world of non-technology takes some re-adjusting! We loved the video and of course it was you behind the camera but your dulcet tones shone through. Your sister confirmed that that was you singing. It looks amazing and very energetic. Ha ha! You built the long drop, after all - very satisfying for your sister who is feeling very sorry for herself with her studies. Lots of love M&D xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteFantastic to see a photo of your group. If you receive this we will send more comments. Thinking about you a lot and there is a letter in the post.
Love the family Wrights xxx
